CAMILLUS, N.Y. -- John Pepper was a lacrosse player for the West Genesee JV team who died tragically in the summer of 2001 in a car accident. His family wanted to honor John with a lacrosse tournament that would celebrate the creators game, thus the John Pepper Memorial Lacrosse Tournament was born. The tourney, which is in it's 15th year involves 15 teams from across the state, and runs through Sunday.
