SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: A frightening new trend is believed to be hitting the Southern Tier: drugs disguised as candy. Police say a new drug floating around Elmira looks just like Sweet Tarts, but it's actually a mix of Xanax, fentanyl and heroin. Elmira Police are warning parents to be on the look out for the candy-like drug. There may even be a letter "S" mimicking the Sweet Tart logo imprinted on the drug to help hide its true identity. Officers are urging the community not to touch the pills, and if you do touch them, use gloves as a precaution.
