This weekend on “In Focus,” we’re taking a closer look at volunteerism.

According to the latest statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, almost 78 million Americans formally volunteered through organizations. That works out to about 5 billion hours of service.

JoDee Kenney spoke with Jim Montour, director of communications at Habitat for Humanity in Buffalo, about how the organization helps those in need.
