UAW Local 2300 workers have ratified a tentative agreement with Cornell University.
The deal comes more than two weeks after workers went on strike.
This union represents many maintenance and facilities workers, gardeners, custodians and cooks at the institution who have been at the bargaining table since April making several demands, which included a push for a 25% wage increase over a four-year contract.
UAW officials said the new contract includes wage increases of up to 25.4%, a cost of living allowance increase and the elimination of a two-tier wage system.
The agreement also includes changes to time-off and uniform, inclement weather and safety policies.
Workers will return to work starting at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
