ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Competitive drumming is making its return to Rochester.

The Drum Corps Associates World Championships will be coming back to the city next year and again in 2023 over Labor Day weekend.

The competition brings out drummers from across the United States and United Kingdom.

It is expected to bring in more than $2 million in tourism to Monroe County.

This will mark the 20th time Rochester has hosted the event during its 55-year history, which is more than any other city.

Rochester lasted hosted the DCA in 2017.
