As severe weather hits parts of the East Coast, some parts of Western New York are seeing their own wild weather.

Spectrum News viewer Alexander Grissom captured a video of a waterspout on Lake Erie in Dunkirk at around 8:30 Tuesday evening.

A waterspout is a tornado that forms over water, but rarely makes it to land because they need water to thrive and grow.

If you have weather photos or videos, we'd love to see them.  Send them to photos@charter.com.
