Tuesday marks two years since the racist mass shooting in Buffalo in which 10 Black people were killed. Three others were wounded and survived.

To show respect for the victims, riders with SlowRoll Buffalo will observe a "Mile of Silence" as they ride past the Tops store on Jefferson Avenue where the shooting took place. Riders will meet at Roswell Park Community Outreach on Michigan Avenue.

SlowRoll Buffalo is a community organization that invites bike riders of all athletic abilities, ages, cultures and backgrounds to come together and share the experience of riding together. They also say they are a "catalyst for education and awareness of grassroots causes."

This is the first ride of the season for SlowRoll Buffalo. It begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
