New details have emerged in the case of a former Rochester psychiatrist who buried a man's body in his backyard.

This new info comes a transcript from a parole hearing in 2016 for William Lewek.

In that hearing, Lewek told a parole board he was romantically involved with 32-year-old Matthew Straton before Straton's death.

He said he paid Straton for various landscaping and plumbing jobs and that Straton used that money to buy cocaine.

Lewek told parole commissioners that the two had used cocaine the day of his death, before he found Straton unresponsive with a needle in his arm.

Lewek said he was unaware of Straton's heroin use and that he panicked after he could not revive him.

He added that he prayed over the body and blessed it before burying it in his backyard.

Lewek pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence.

He served two years in prison before being released in December. However he's back behind bars, accused of violating the terms of his probation.

Officials wouldn't give any details as his case goes through the violations process.

Lewek has been held in the Monroe County Jail for the last two weeks.
