HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- As a state of emergency remains in effect, many in Hoosick Falls are dealing with the aftermath of Saturday night's severe flooding.
Mayor Rob Allen says first responders are working quickly to fix issues across the city.
He adds Hall Street, Spring Street and the Southern portion of Church Street between Carey Avenue and Main Street are closed. A full list of road closures is posted on the village's website.
Allen says the state of emergency will not exceed more than five days, and is asking anyone who still needs assistance to contact 9-1-1.
