The full lineup for the 29th Rochester Summer Soul Music Festival was announced on Friday.
Scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24 at Innovative Field, Nate & Renee, Jamall Youngblood, Anthony Dounte, Dawn & Daze, Nyk Tyrell, LunaSolChild, Regina Bell, and Ruff Endz will highlight the entertainers set to appear.
“The Rochester Summer Soul Music Fest is one of the premier Soul and R&B music festivals in the Northeast and the perfect conclusion to Rochester’s outstanding events season,” said Rochester Mayor Evans, who announced the lineup along with Amir Baiyina, president and CMO of Xperience Live Events, and Rochester Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason. “Varick and Amir Baiyina, along with their team at Xperience Live Events, have curated yet another fantastic festival with elements the whole family can enjoy. This year’s Summer Soul Music Fest is not to be missed.”
Baltimore-based R&B group Dru Hill will headline Saturday's event.
