ROCHESTER, N.Y. — December is here and so is the holiday spirit in Rochester.

The 2022 Roc Holiday Village opens for the season on Friday at 4 p.m.

It's 16 days of free holiday festivities in Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park. Ice rinks, Santa's workshop, an igloo village and live reindeer are just a few of the attractions. There is also a heated indoor bar with a mini arcade.

The Roc Holiday Village runs Dec. 2-23.

Village hours will be as follows:

• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 4-9 p.m.
• Saturdays 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
• Sundays 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
