PALMYRA, N.Y. — What was supposed to be the final Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra is officially canceled.

The final performance was originally scheduled for last summer, but that was postponed until 2021 due to the pandemic.

Now, organizers say it's done for good.

In place of the event, the 2019 pageant will be streamed online starting July 9.
