ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two youth summer employment programs are being offered in Rochester.

The city’s Summer of Opportunity Program and RochesterWorks! summer youth employment program are inviting anyone between the ages of 14 and 20 to register.

Each program provides six to eight weeks of paid employment for students in middle school, high school, or those actively pursuing their high school equivalency diploma.

The city says selection for these programs is competitive and not every applicant is guaranteed placement in a job.

Registration runs from March 1 to March 26.

More information on registration can be found at rocsummeryouth.com.
