ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Museum & Science Center is joining other businesses in reducing its hours since the rise in COVID-19 cases in the area.

Its new hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The museum's new hours are in effect starting this Monday, November 30.

Museum officials say the Curiosity Club and the Cumming Nature Center and its Forest School program will remain open and continue to run as usual.

They also site low visitation in recent months as another reason why they decided to reduce hours.
