ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The city of Rochester will open its opens first-ever outdoor skate park in less than a week.

The project has been in the works for years and the Roc City Skate Park will hold a ribbon-cutting next Thursday.

The 26,000 square-foot park is located under and next to the Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge.

The skate park has been under construction for nearly a year.
