ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Red Wings announced masks for vaccinated individuals will not be required after the new CDC guidelines start in New York on Wednesday.
The organization is, however, encouraging fans to continue masking up.
Those new rules do not apply for unvaccinated people.
Officials say there will still be plenty of preventative measures at Frontier Field, including sanitation stations and social distancing signs.
You will need to mask up at Tuesday night's home opener against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, as the CDC guidelines do not go into effect until Wednesday.
