Rush-Henrietta grad Jared Gerbino opened his summer attending the nation's top quarterbacks camp. Gerbino earned an invite to the Manning Passing Academy through his Dartmouth head coach, Buddy Teevens.
At the academy, Gerbino was playing and counseling alongside future first round picks.
"It's just a cool experience," said Gerbino. "You kinda get to see how normal they are and how guys are kinda all in the same position, they're just at different schools."
The rising senior doesn't make the trip back too often, taking advantage of Dartmouth's quarter system to complete the majority of his classes outside of football season.
"I think it's really cool coming from a tight-knit city and area," said Gerbino. "Whenever you see someone that's in that progress of making it, they're always shouting out 'Rochester,' and they're always giving back. It's kind of cool to be involved with that and be a part of that."
