GENEVA, N.Y. — Police say eight people are recovering after being hit by a car in Geneva Monday night.
It happened at the intersection of State Route 14 and Glass Factory Bay Road.
According to authorities, Patrick Babb was turning left when he failed to yield the right of way and struck another driver. The cars then struck the eight pedestrians standing on the side of the road.
Both drivers and all of the pedestrians, including a pregnant woman, were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
Babb was ticketed with reckless driving and failing to yield for a left-hand turn.
