OGDEN, N.Y. — The Ogden dog that once faced euthanasia after being accused of biting a woman is now being sent to an animal sanctuary in Buffalo.

Vanessa's supporters rallied around her story, even creating a Facebook page called "Justice for Vanessa." They gathered outside Ogden Town Court on Wednesday night where a judge made his ruling.

Vanessa's owner, Jeremy Wolf, appealed the original ruling to euthanize her. A Monroe County Court judge vacated that decision, sending the case back to Ogden.

According to the Facebook page, Vanessa will be housed at Against All Oddz Animal Alliance. Spectrum News is told Wolf will have full access to her, but she will have to remain there.

Wolf has been fighting for her release since she was accused of biting a neighbor in July.
