ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Police Department is investigating a triple shooting on Monroe Avenue Monday night.

Officers say they arrived at around 7 p.m. to the area of Sumner Park to find a 31-year-old man and 19-year-old woman who had both been shot.

Spectrum News is told the 31-year-old man was critically injured. Another 18-year-old victim arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital by private vehicle. Both teen victims are expected to survive.

The front of a restaurant on Monroe Avenue was struck during the gunfire. No one inside was hurt.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
