IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — The New York State Police have released the name of a woman who died after crashing her car into the back of a tractor trailer in Irondequoit.
Police say the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday on Route 104 near I-590. They say Cassandra Abraham, 28, was traveling westbound when she struck the tractor trailer.
Abraham died at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash but the cause is still under investigation.
