ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police say the driver who crashed an SUV into a Rochester convenience store took off before police got there.

Police say he ran from the We R Convenience store on Lake Avenue before sunrise.

Officers say he left the Jeep after he slammed into the building.  

Police say no one was inside and no one was hurt.
