Two people are dead and two others injured after a shooting on State Street near High Falls.

Rochester police said they responded to 429 state street for a call of disturbance around 1:15 a.m.

While on the scene officers encountered one victim with a gunshot wound. Later in the investigation police were notified that three other people were transported by private vehicle to Strong Hospital.

Two of those victims were pronounced dead at Strong. Police identified the victims as Glenn Burden, 36 of Rochester and Travis Johnson, 31 of Rochester.
