CHILI, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of the driver who died following a head-on crash in Chili Monday evening. The other driver was seriously hurt.
Police say Robert Keeley, 68, of Caledonia died after a crash at around 5:30 p.m. on Scottsville-Chili Road. Deputies say it appears one driver was speeding and tried to pass a car when it hit another vehicle head-on.
The driver of the passing car is listed in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Deputies say no charges have been filed, but the investigation is ongoing.
