In downtown Rochester, the words "Black Lives Matter" were painted on the ground by a local artist and City of Rochester workers.
An aerial photo taken by Kevin Mentus shows the mural in its entirety from up above.
You'll be able to see this work of art over on Court Street.
About a dozen people contributed to the painting.
"When those who pass by, for those who gather for the protests to exercise their right, I want them to feel a connection point to this piece, to spread that message, take a photo, tell their friends," said community artist Shawn Dunwoody. "It does matter. And that's really what this is about. It's always about amplifying voices."
