Defensive backs Jermaine Ponder and Zuril Hendrick are in NFL Minicamps this weekend.

Ponder, who played at Bishop Kearney and St. Francis of Pennsylvania is at the Cleveland Browns minicamp while Zuril Hendrick, who played at Edinboro after graduating from Pittsford, is in Chicago.

Both players are hoping to inspire more Section V football players to chase their dreams. 

Four Section 5 players were picked up after the NFL Draft ended on Saturday. Marquis Young of Fairport was invited to the Indianapolis Colts, the running back with over 3,600 yards at UMass in his career. Wide receiver Micah Wright of Newark is in Arizona for the Cardinals minicamp after his season at Maine.
