Votes in primary elections have officially been recounted and confirmed.

Doug Randall clinched the final spot on the Democratic line for county court judge, with 310 votes more than City School Board President Van White.

Caroline Edwards-Morrison and Julie Cianca already secured spots on the November ballot.

The closest race was for the 24th district county legislator, with Albert Blankley beating Rajesh Barnabas by only nine votes for the Democratic nomination.

It wasn't candidates calling for these recounts, but a new state mandate requiring additional counts for races within 5 percentage points.

Seven races in Monroe County triggered those recounts.
