Teenagers have a chance for their voices to be heard.
The search is on for new representatives for the New York State Governor's Youth Council. The council allows young people to engage in state politics.
To apply you must:
- Live in New York
- Be between the ages of 13 and 21
- And be able to serve on the council until March 2022
The council is made up of one representative from each of the state's 62 counties.
The application is due by May 14.
