Ticket sales have been suspended for Pete Davidson's headlining performance at this year's Fringe Festival. No specific reason was cited.
He was scheduled to perform at Kodak Hall on Friday, Sept. 13.
According to Ticketmaster, a number of Davidson's upcoming shows in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas have been canceled.
The 2024 Rochester Fringe Festival kicks off Sept. 10 and runs through Sept. 21.
Davidson is known for his time as a cast member on NBC’s "Saturday Night Live" from 2014 to 2022 and has also starred in the film "The King of Staten Island" and the Peacock series "Bupkis," among other projects.
Rochester Fringe Festival producer Erica Fee released a statement on Davidson's cancelation, saying that anyone who purchased tickets is asked to hold on to them until more information is released:
“As many of you have seen, unfortunately Pete Davidson has had to cancel all his upcoming tour dates, including his appearance at Rochester Fringe. We wish him all the best and hope to welcome him to Rochester sometime in the future. In the meantime, we are very close to securing a super-exciting new comedy headliner and cannot wait to share those details as soon as they’re confirmed. Anyone who purchased tickets for Pete Davidson, please hold onto them and we will have more information for your shortly!”
