PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills Training Camp is a time for fans to come together, enjoy activities, and watch the players practice. Among the many fans, one notable attendee from last year was a young kid named Matteo Panella, who attended the camp with his parents.

What You Need To Know

  • Bills camp is a fun and unifying event for fans, featuring various activities and opportunities to watch players practice

  • Matteo, a young Baltimore Ravens fan, attended the Bills training camp with his parents last year

  • Bills fans, known as Bills Mafia, exhibit a deep passion and dedication to their team

Interestingly, Matteo is not a Bills fan, but a Baltimore Ravens fan. His appearance on Spectrum News 1 last year caught the attention of the Ravens, who sent him an autographed football, a jersey, and tickets to one of their games.

"I love football, but I'm not a Bills fan. We are just the best," said Matteo.

Of course, Bills fans might disagree. In upstate New York, the Bills Mafia is an undeniable presence.

"I think honestly we just have a dedication and a passion that I don't think any other fan base can replicate. Maybe it is because we do live in upstate New York. They say there is not much to do. We all live, breathe and die Bills," said Samuel Vaccaro.

On the first day of training camp, Bills fans were eager to see what the upcoming season holds. The camp was filled with activities for families, and players took time to greet fans as they headed to the field for practice.
