ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The City of Rochester is gearing up for the winter storm that is supposed to hit the area Sunday night.
The Department of Environmental Services says they are prepared, fully staffed and will bring in additional support if needed — and they’re sharing some important reminders for neighbors, as well.
“Stay home and let us do our thing," Karen St. Aubin, Department of Environmental Services director of operations, said. "Stay off the road. Adhere to the parking. It’s very important to adhere to our parking to give us room to get through and clear the snow."
They are reminding everyone to make sure you are parked on the correct side of the street and to keep your pets safe.
