​ROCHESTER, N.Y. — ​Mayor-elect Malik Evans has announced Patrick Cunningham as his new deputy mayor.

Cunningham will serve as Evans’ right hand man when he takes office January 1.

He has a career in finance after spending close to 25 years with Manning Napier Incorporated, an investment firm where he was CEO.

Evans also announced a pair of other appointments. Kim Jones will serve as acting director of finance and Liliana Ruiz has been selected to serve as director of special projects.
