ROCHESTER, N.Y. — St. John Fisher College is preparing for the first day of classes on Tuesday.

Students and employees on campus are all vaccinated. There were religious and medical exemptions made as well.

Face coverings are required for everybody, regardless of vaccination status when indoors.

For the students allowed to be unvaccinated, they will also need to wear a mask in any situation outdoors where physical distancing of 6 feet is not possible.

Unvaccinated individuals with an approved exemption will be required to test weekly.

Officials will continue to monitor to determine if additional testing of all or targeted populations is warranted during the semester.

Correction: An earlier version of this story said that regular testing would be conducted of all students and staff.
