ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rain couldn't stop the music Sunday at Parcel 5, as Roc Jam Live returned for the second year.

DJ Bigg Regg and Jay Berry started Roc Jam Live last year as a way to boost spirits during the pandemic.

What You Need To Know

  • Roc Jam Live returned downtown Rochester Sunday

  • Festival organizers are trying to use music for healing

  • Admission is free

  • It runs every other Sunday through Labor Day

They're continuing the festival this year with the same message behind it.

"Music is soothing, you have a song you strongly relate to and that’s what we’re playing here” said DJ Bigg Regg.

This year's event featured vendors and food trucks.

Organizers say it's the largest DJ-only music festival in the country.

Admission to Roc Jam Live is free, something DJ Bigg Regg and Jay hope encourages people to come and experience the healing power of music.

The festival runs every other Sunday until Labor Day.
