ROCHESTER, N.Y. — ​As COVID-19 vaccines continue to be rolled out across the nation, the Jewish Senior Life Living Center started vaccinating its residents and staff.

Residents and staff got the first of two vaccine doses Monday. They will receive the second dose in January.

Officials said the vaccine isn’t required, but is highly recommended.
