Even as we continue to reopen New York, the City of Rochester confirms that one of its summer traditions is not going forward for now.

This year's Party in the Park series was originally set to start next week and run through August.

A city spokesperson says that can't happen as special use permits are not being issued through August, and they don't see that changing unless guidance from the state drastically changes.

The outdoor concert series is normally held at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park.
