One local cancer fundraiser has nearly doubled its initial goal.

13thirty Cancer Connect launched its $20K / 20 Day Challenge fundraiser at the start of the month to celebrate 20 years of making a difference.

It hit its initial goal of $20,000 after only 17 days. It then went onto raise an additional $24,000 for the cause.

13thirty bridges the gap between pediatric and adult medicine for local teens diagnosed with cancer.
