The rainy pattern over Texas is finally winding down. Scattered showers will be less numerous for Friday and afternoon highs will be at or just below normal.

By Saturday afternoon, much drier air will begin to surge southward across Texas. This will be some of the driest air we’ve seen since May – and many areas will have the coolest morning on Sunday since that same time.

For north Texas, morning lows Sunday and Monday could drop to the middle 50s; Central Texas will get some upper 50s and low 60s; South Texas will see some 60s.

We’ll be dry through about midweek. At that time, some tropical moisture is expected to move back into Texas with chances of rain.

Enjoy the cooler, drier weather this weekend.
