Temperatures are 15-20 degrees colder than the day before and will be accompanied by gusty north winds to add to the chill. Most areas will remain dry with a low chance of showers near the coast, mainly around Victoria, the Coastal Bend and the Valley.

Thanksgiving Day will be cloudy, windy and quite chilly all across Texas.

Clearing skies and lighter winds will set up a very cold morning on Friday. Some parts of rural north Texas and the Hill Country might briefly dip near the freezing mark.
