After authorities were called to break up several large fights Saturday, a local trampoline park is instituting some new rules for guests.

Saturday evening, multiple law enforcement agencies were called to Altitude Trampoline Park where several fights had broken out among hundreds of people. As a result, the park is making changes.

Individuals younger than 18 now have to leave the park by 6:30 p.m. if they’re not accompanied by an adult 25 years or older. Guests younger than 18 can still enter after 6 p.m., but they have to be checked in by an adult, and each adult can only bring in up to five people.

Anyone older than 18 will have to show their identification at the door. Guests can also no longer loiter in the parking lot or adjacent parking lots.

Some patrons have mixed feelings about the changes.

“I understand why they’d do it, but I feel like kids should be able to go into just a trampoline park without adults," Webster resident Dakota Cooper said. "And like I was saying, adults get into fights in public too, it’s not just kids. So I feel like it’s a little too strict.”

Others think it's a good policy.

"I want [my niece and nephew] to be safe," Greece resident Octavia Porcha said. "First, their parents are entrusting me to bring them, so I would hate for something to happen on my watch or anybody’s watch. I want anyone to come here and hang out be safe.”

Altitude declined to speak about these policy changes, but on social media, it apologized to families for Saturday’s incident. It also said there would be additional security on Friday and Saturday evenings.
