There will be increased security and police at Albion Middle School Friday because of another threatening social media post.

The Albion Police Department said it looked into the threatening posts and found there's no credible threat.

However, there will be extra police on the school's campus as a precaution.

This follows November's credible threat, which was stopped by police.

Since then the school has taken preemptive measures, hosting meetings with community members to help prevent any sort of violence at the school.

The students arrested for the November threat are being monitored.

Anyone with information regarding threats should contact the Albion Police Department at 585-589-5627.
