The New York State Department of Health has revoked the operating permit of the Sand Hill Mobile Home Park in Arcadia after the owner was cited for several violations.

The health department gave the owners just 30 days to shut down the property, removing the people living there.

Neighbors said there is confusion.  One resident said they don’t know who the true owner of the property is. She said that multiple people have come forward saying they were the owners and asking for rent.

Another neighbor said they’ve been dealing with a lot of disorganization from management over the last two years.

The state health department is shutting down the park because say the owner refused to make necessary repairs, and says there have been citations in the past relating to septic and electrical issues.

The department has been working to assist the residents to relocate.
