Carolyn Miller has lived in Erie Station Village for the last six years and was surprised to hear about the overnight burglaries.

“If they see anything, they will call either the police or the leasing office,” said Miller.

As news of the arrests spread through the Erie Station Village and Lehigh Park Apartment complexes, many said they were worried.

“It concerns me because I don't want to get my car broken into or anybody else and we don't have any security guards or any security around here,” said Paul Bonacchi, a Henrietta resident.

And the break-ins are not new for the community. A few people in the neighborhood say this same thing happened just a couple months ago.

Dan Rockefeller says management notified residents before about previous incidents.

“I vaguely remember an email that they sent us to make sure we lock our cars and to check if anything has happened,” he said.

For Bonacchi, he says he'll be prepared if there's a next time.

“I'll be bringing my golf clubs in tonight. Or maybe I shouldn't be telling people that,” said Bonacchi.
