An East High student saw a classmate in need and went above and beyond to help him out.

Freshman Michael Siler noticed his classmate, Cam, had holes in his shoes. Michael said he knows what it's like to not have a lot, so he wanted to help out.

He says it was the right thing to do.

"Instead of picking on people, bullying them for the way they look, you got to help people out," Siler added.

Cam now has new jackets, pants, shirts, and shoes but the best thing Michael brought was a smile to Cam's face.
