Congressman Tom Reed discussed  the gun issue at a town hall before heading back to DC after the August recess.

He re-iterated his support of the Second Amendment but said he also wants to look at some gun control measures.

"Banning guns, very divisive, and I don't support that, but there are some things we can do,” he said. “In regards to gun research for example. Under the federal CDC and other issues, I’m open to repealing that ban."

Reed and the rest of the House will be back in session in Washington on Monday.
