If you live in the Rochester area, chances are you've been to the George Eastman Museum on East Avenue. However, a new tour offered by the museum allows visitors to experience a piece of the famous photographer's life while in motion.

The 6.5 mile bike ride begins at the museum and visits 10 locations that shaped Eastman's life. It includes places Eastman funded, founded, and his past homes.

While Eastman was a big cycler, you don't have to be in "cycler shape" to enjoy the tour.

“It might sound like a lot but we’re stopping every few minutes to catch our breath and give a short history spiel and show you historic photos from the time period," Jesse Peers, George Eastman Museum said. "Anybody can do it. All you have to do is be able to ride a bike."

The tours scheduled for July 13 and September 14 are sold out, but the September 28 event is still open. It cost $25 and includes entry to the museum.
