Though heavy rains have passed, Monroe County remains under a flood warning through Friday afternoon.

Raging flood waters launched a rescue in Mount Morris on Thursday in Mount Morris.

Flash flooding was still an issue the following day when water flooded parking lots in the Henrietta Business District on Commerce Drive, preventing some people from getting to work.

Lindenmeyr Munroe employees ended up having to shuttle each other to work at one point.

"This is really rare for this area," said James Johnson, an employee. "We had a lot of rain yesterday and I'm just assuming eventually it'll recede but it's a process. You know, the job never stops. We've got customers to deliver to so we want to make sure our customers are satisfied, and we're doing what we have to do to make that happen."

Fire crews and Monroe County Sheriff's deputies responded to the area on Friday to put up signs urging drivers to turn around.
