An Albion Central School senior is dead and three others hospitalized after a crash in Orleans County Tuesday.

It happened shortly after midnight on Eagle Harbor Road in Albion. New York State Police said the car rolled off the road and crashed into a telephone pole.

Police say Brennan Moody, 17, was killed.

Four people were in the car at the time. The driver and front passenger were taken to a Rochester-area hospital, while the other backseat passenger was airlifted to a Buffalo-area hospital.

“He was nice to everyone,” freshman Myleigh Miller said.

Miller left a stuffed animal at the scene of the crash on Tuesday to memorialize senior Brennan Moody.

“Sloths are cute and funny, and so was Brennon,” she added.

A description his classmates agree with.

“If there were shy people in the room, he’d be the one to brighten everyone up," fellow senior Dalton Wilkins said. "There wouldn’t be a shy person in the room after he was there.”

Miller, who was in theater with Moody, says he was extremely talented.

“He was the prince in Into the Woods which was the perfect role for him," Miller said. "His singing voice was absolutely fantastic. He blew me away every time he opened his mouth.”

Fellow seniors and other students met in the chorus room, to remember Moody. With graduation just next week, it’s a dark time at the school.

“It’s definitely going to be rough," Wilkins said. "It won’t be easy.”

Counselors, staff and members of the clergy will be available at the school for students and parents.

Deputies believe speed was a factor in the crash. It remains under investigation.
