More than 2,000 people were on the move Saturday for the annual Tour De Cure in Webster.
The 100-mile bike ride benefits the American Diabetes Association. It's a record breaking year for the Rochester area event, which raised more than $1.1 million.
The event is a local offshoot of a national effort to recognize those living with diabetes across the country.
"We've had the number one tour in the United States, here in Rochester for the last two years. We're hoping that we finish up another one here for three years," Bob Russell, Executive Director at American Diabetes Association said. "The way the community comes together to support us is absolutely unbelievable."
Following the ride, the fun continues with a festival.
