The Genesee Brewery in Rochester is gearing up to "ROC the Falls" again.

The popular event that takes place at the High Falls Terrace Park is expanding to include a summer concert series this summer. City officials joined members of the Genesee Brewery on Tuesday for the announcement. The event will take place over three Fridays, each with live music, lots of beer and food trucks.

ROC the Falls is a part of the ROC the Riverway re-development program which is aimed at improving access and activities around the Genesee River and High Falls.

"This is more than just about public works projects to improve our wonderful public spaces, this is about partnerships that bring those spaces to life, and ROC the Falls are doing that," said Vincent Esposito, Empire State Development. "I know the governor is excited by it, I'm excited by it, just like the mayor is— we want to see this continue."

The first event takes place on Friday, May 24. It will celebrate the Genesee Brewery's birthday and feature beer solely made in New York State.
