A jailhouse informant tied to the investigation into missing Chili teen Brittanee Drexel is demanding a jury trial over claims he made against an FBI agent, an assistant district attorney, and a state corrections official.

Tequan Brown provided police with information about what he believed was the rape and murder of Drexel after she went missing in South Carolina 10 years ago.

Drexel's body has not been found.

Brown says he and his mother were threatened by inmates and that his life was in danger because of actions made by those officials named in the suit.

He filed the original suit in December. Then, last week, his attorney filed new papers calling for that lawsuit to immediately go in front of a jury.

Brown told police during the investigation that he saw a man named Shawn Taylor assaulting Drexel.

Taylor has not been named as a suspect in Drexel's disappearance.
